The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This painting relates to a session used in the japanese tea ceromony with a cool Koi Sanke swimming gently through the painting.
Cha means tea in japanese this is were in all probability the term for a English cup of char comes from.

The kanji in the top right hand corner means harmony this painting can be seen hanging in the Etsu a traditional japanese restuarant in liverpool.
